MSNBC

MSNBC opens by referring to the parties as “violent parties” instead of a riot. The interview used at 0:53 was a good first hand account and talked about the effect of the guests from other schools destroying their town and said it doesn’t represent the school or town.

The news castors also talk about heavily armed police confronting unarmed people. But they say that because the people were being destructive and injuring people it was justifiable. They also refer to a riot that happened at UMass and talk about the police response to that incident as well being justifiable.
