After a 3 year hiatus, the Pumpkin Festival returned to downtown Keene under the name of the “Let It Shine Festival.” The focus and intent was reminiscent of the early years of the festival. The local business gave out candy for the kids dressed up in their favorite costumes and the families listened near the gazebo to\u00a0 songs sung by local choirs. The communities of both the college and the city came together to ensure that this festival was worth bringing back.<\/p>\n
In these pages, we will view pictures taken by us at the festival, along with the media coverage from the local news station as well as the Keene State College Equinox.\u00a0 Also, included from the interview was the efforts made by both communities\u00a0 leading up to the 2017 festival.<\/p>\n
