Montevallo is my favorite place, and I take part in many activities. I am the vice president of Secular Student Alliance. This organization aims to promote secularism in our country by rallying college students at the grassroots level. SSA has become a big part of my college life, and I am glad that I am able to use my skills as an officer.
At Montevallo, I am a scholar for TRIO McNair Scholars. TRIO McNair aims to assist students who are in the minority of society and/or grew up in poverty by providing funds for undergraduate research projects and guiding them to earning their PhD. McNair has granted me many opportunities, like visiting Politicon in Los Angeles, California. Politicon was something truly amazing. I saw Dr. Drew Pinsky, Kathy Griffin, former NJ governor Chris Christie, and even Drake Bell from the Nickelodeon show Drake and Josh.
My boyfriend Noah and I are couple goals. He is a history major at his college, and he is incredibly smart. When we Facetime, he is usually working on updating his computer or messing with some other piece of technology. Noah is a “Renaissance Man,” because he do just about anything and knows almost everything in every subject.
