Milestone #3 Update

I’m so happy and relieved that the draft of the website is complete! Although Alyssa and I couldn’t see each other as much to work on it together, each of us helped each other out and worked hard to complete the pages assigned to us. It does has some room for improvement, but it’s extremely comforting to finally see all the information on the site. We were also able to find some great pictures for our site from Wikimedia Commons. Even though they are not the pictures we wanted, they still reflect the narrative of desegregation and allow the audience to get a glimpse into that process. We appreciate all the positive feedback we received in class today and we took notes on the things Dr. Welch highlighted for us to fix and will start on those soon. We still need to fix the color of the sidebar and add some more color in general, but with Leah’s help we will be able to accomplish that. With the hard part out of the way, we are ready to edit and refine the heck out of our site to make sure it is perfect and ready to present in a few weeks. Time is flying by, but exciting progress has been made and will continue to be made! All the sites were great today guys, let’s finish strong! 🙂

  1. The website you came out with is pretty good considering the huge setback you guys got hit with. Even that said the pictures you got I think fit really well and mesh with the site seamlessly. I like your next page buttons, they are better than the ones I made I’ll probably borrow the format for my own page. Good job.
