Comments to Websites

Hello everyone,

I noticed that other people made a separate post on feedback about websites. I will do that then!

Fracking Website – It was nice seeing this website because Claire and Jessica started the first out of the class on working on their website. It is really nice seeing the evolution of their website. I think the colors and the final format of the website it really fitting for their topic. They are taking their own pictures, so that really adds a personal touch to their project. I think what was said in class about inputting links into their writing will make it look more polished. They have a lot of information, so referring to other websites was really helpful! Great job!

Keene Pumpkin Fest – I think this is a really cool website. I think it is especially cool because the people from their area will be able to find a place to look up everything about this situation. They are really creating a great reference place for this information. A lot of people would benefit from using this website. It is amazing to see the actual newspaper articles. I would recommend changing the footer. I cannot wait to see the final product!

Railroaded – We are all here supporting you from afar, given the situation you have been put in. You have done a lot with your website, with what you have been given. I think it is great with the information you have now. I really like the layout of your website. The only thing I would change is the footer information at the bottom. Overall, I like that you have so many references. It really helps with the interactive aspect of being able to see pictures ad videos. It really shows the depth of the problem in your area. I also like how you write little notes on the page to do later. Kailee and I should start doing that! Great job on what you have done!

Shay’s Rebellion – Both of our websites are similar in the fact that our topics, compared to the other groups, have had a set resolution to the conflict that happened awhile ago. Our websites are both formatted for that. Your website is clean and simplistic. I would, like discussed in class, add the minor characters into one page. I do like the pictures you added, and you have the right amount of information for each page. You all should be proud of what you have done!
