Hey everyone!

Semester is definitely coming down to the wire, but Alyssa and I made some progress this week. We met on Thursday and sorted all our articles based on relevance to our pages. Each of us took the articles attached to the pages we are responsible for and we plan to spend the next few days analyzing and summarizing them in a google doc and attaching important dates as well so that will help us once I start making the timeline in the upcoming weeks. We also got a chance to talk to Dr. McClurken this week, who is a COPLAC representative that works in the digital history department we have on campus. He has had previous experience with The Free Lance Star barring students from getting access to photos so he was able to give us multiple leads to seek photos from and some tips on how to be creative on getting more of a visual component for our site. Once we finish the analysis of our articles and complete milestone #2, we will start reaching out to these organizations in order to hopefully find more photos. If we take one day at a time, in the end our website will be finished and we will be able to say that despite difficulties we succeeded.
