For this week our main goal was to finish our research proposal. We have a good foundation of what we want to do for our topic, so we were good on what we wanted to express in our introduction to the proposal. We figured out the main points, but we were struggling on wondering if we wrote enough or not. We will finalize our research proposal Monday night. For the layout of the website we do not want to put too much on there to blur the important parts of our topic. We plan to have a visual timeline on the main page, and then the person on the website will be able to navigate to learn more about each event through embedded links. We do not really plan to have videos or use and video editing programs. As far as visuals go we will have timelines and pictures from newspaper articles. We will plan sometime soon to go to the different high schools, and we will take current pictures of them as well. This will help with making sure we do not have any problems with citing it. We plan to go to the library again this week. Thanks!
I like that you want to keep the layout of your website simple and easy to navigate- I think that will help your audience to learn the most from your website. I also think that taking your own pictures seems like a great idea- we hope to do that too, but haven’t had the chance to do so yet.
